How to Make Shamdun Green Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 Shamdun Green (1-2 teaspoons of loose-leaf Shamdun Green Tea)
- 1 cup (about 240 ml) of filtered water
- Optional: Honey, lemon, or mint for added flavor
Instructions:
- Boil the Water:
- Heat your water to 160°F to 180°F (70°C to 80°C). Green tea should never be brewed with boiling water, as it can result in bitterness and destroy the delicate compounds that provide its health benefits.
- measure about 1-2 teaspoons of Shamdun Green Tea and place it in an infuser or directly into the cup.
- Let It Steep:
- Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor. If you prefer a milder taste, steep for around 3 minutes; for a stronger, richer flavor, let it steep closer to 5 minutes.
- Strain the Leaves:
- Once the tea has steeped to your liking, strain the loose leaves. Avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
- Optional Additions:
- If desired, you can sweeten your Shamdun Green Tea with a little honey or add a squeeze of lemon to enhance the flavor and add Vitamin C.
- Fresh mint leaves can also be added for a refreshing twist and added digestive support.
